HEATING BLOCKS
FEATURES
Mini heating block / digestor units are suitable for COD’s, thermal digestions and general test tube heating applications in the temperature range of ambient +5ºC to 200ºC. Temperature control is microprocessor controlled using PT100 input sensor and a solid state relay output. A three position
setpoint selector switch selects either one of two preset temperatures or a continuously variable setpoint control. The preset temperatures are factory set to 100ºC and 148ºC respectively, and are user adjustable to any temperature within the range of ambient +5ºC to 200ºC. A selectable timer, 0-120
minute, for automatic shut-off is also fitted as standard. Aluminium block area – 120 x 120mm. Hole depth – 55mm.
Microprocessor Control Unit:-
incorporates a microprocessor controlled temperature indicator, a selectable timer, 0-12- minutes for automatic shut-off, a three position setpoint selector switch which selects either one of two preset temperatures or a continuously variable setpoint control. Digestors consist of three parts: Microprocessor control unit, heating block unit and tube rack..
Remote cables between controller and heating block come 1,5m long as standard. Control units and heating block units are interchangeable.
DCA 45 – temperature range +50ºC to 450ºC
DCA 20 – temperature range Ambient +5ºC to 200˚C
CONTROL ACCURACY:- ± 0.2ºC @ 100ºC
Heating Block Units:-
Machined aluminium block housed in a well insulated powder coated mild steel housing with stainless steel surround. The element is a easily replaceable clamp on type incaloy element.
Test tube racks:-
STANDARD – All stainless steel with three sides double walled and insulated plus toughened glass front safety shield. ECONOMY – All stainless steel with single walled sides and open front and back.
P.I.D. microprocessor temperature control. Digital indicator: 120 minute digital timer for automatic shut-off.
